Sunday Family Time

Sundays are always fun, great days.  Church was uplifting though Grant sure gave a good struggle through Sacrament meeting.  I love the spirit that resides at Church and carries with us through the week.

Grant had fun playing with his car this afternoon.  He would drop it or sometimes throw it on the kitchen floor and then push it across the room.  He was smiling and make a "woo woo"  sound as the car zoomed around.  He also loved riding the horsey downstairs today.

This evening Sam, Sarah, and Sierra came over for dinner, which was Chicken patties, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and cooked broccoli.

Then we had a family night with Joyanne giving a lesson on love since Valentines is coming up.  She did a puzzle with little loving things we had to do like give hugs or name ways we can show love.  She also came up with a few scriptures on love for us to read.

Icecream was the next activity with the food game to follow.  The food game is a favorite at our house.  I pick about 6 to 8 different foods and give them to the kids and they have to guess what the food is.  Tonight some of the food was oranges, cookies, chips, carrots, and other stuff.

Then we ended our night playing Sardines.  The kids loved hiding and searching for everyone.  When it got quiet, everyone was found pretty quickly.  A fun night for all of us.
