Josie's Cabin

We had a library reading activity, but it made us miss our quiet, more personal library back in Idaho.

They did a craft and gave otter pops at the end.

The library was overcrowded.

Apparently it's popular though.

We hiked to some more petroglyphs this afternoon.
Hot day!

We were excited to have spotted a baby rabbit in a little cave by these petroglyphs.

We went back through Dinosaur National Monument to Josie's Cabin.

We hiked a mile through this beautiful grassy, shady area toward this mountain.

After the hike, we explored Josie's Cabin.

It was neat to be able to go inside and see how simple Josie lived all by herself from 60 years old to 90.

When we loaded in the car, I told Daddy I was hot and sweaty.

He replied that I didn't need to sound so arrogant.

When I questioned him about being arrogant he said, "I know you're hot and sexy, but you don't have to brag."

Ha ha ha!  What a funny guy!
