Manners

While growing up, on Sundays my family would sit at a formal dining table with a tablecloth and china dishes.
We learned how to eat politely and have nice manners.
So tonight I did that with my children.

We ate with nice dishes and talked about politeness and manners.
Like waiting to sit down until the hostess does, putting your napkin on your lap, elbows off the table, taking turns passing the food, saying things like "Please" and "Thank you".
The kids did well and asked that we do it again.
Even Daddy said it was good for him too.

This little puppy, Mira, and I have a love-hate relationship.
She is cute and good as long she gets what she wants.
