August 13th - Lagoon Trip

The day after James' truck accident, we went to Lagoon as a family using our GetOutPass.

We had a lot of fun!

The lines were a little long, especially for the new ride, Primordial.

Here Dad, Grandpa, and I are in line for Primordial watching Jaden and James shoot up in their ride.

While waiting in line for Primordial, I met Ivey Lloyd, the movie actress from Rigoletto, 17 Miracles, and Faith of Angels.
She was absolutely amazing and so friendly.

Cliffhanger hasn't been open for a while, so this was an adventure.

They are about to get soaked.

In Cliffhanger, they get more soaked than at the Rattlesnake Rapids ride.

Grant's friend, Gideon, was with us.
Grant was with us too; he just happened to not make it in any pictures for some reason.

This is part of the line waiting to go on Primordial.

We went on Primordial 2 times, waiting about 1 1/2 to 2 hours for each time.
The ride had mechanical issues both times we wanted to go on it.

Grandpa wasn't feeling too well the 2nd time in line waiting to go on Primordial.
We were about to take him out, when the line started moving and we got to go on the ride.
He ended up throwing up all over himself and the seat.
It wasn't too fun to clean up afterwards.

Rattlesnake Rapids is always a fun ride to go on.
But for some reason, everyone always tries to get me soaked.
