Mckonkie Ranch Petroglyphs and Massey's Cave

Our Vernal adventures today began driving red cloud loop up dry fork canyon looking for Massey's cave.
After driving up about 4 miles, not sure where the cave was, we turned around and went back to McKonkie's Ranch to see the Petroglyphs.
See the Peteoglyphs behind Dad?

These petroglyphs were like a whole family.
Beacham, Joyanne,  Jaden, James, Chloe

Marcia, Steve, James, Grant, Jaden, Beacham, Daren, Joyanne,  Mom, Chloe

All of us with awesome Dad!

After getting directions from someone at McKonkie's ranch, we made our way back up Dry Fork Canyon, up the Red Cloud Loop for about 20 minutes to where there was a Fork in the road, and we took the left Fork.
We came to muddy roads and then snowy roads, until we came upon a snow embankment where we parked our cars.
We trudged through the snow for a mile and a half, wondering if we would ever reach the cave, and almost turned back a couple of times.
Finally, we found the cave.
Steve, Daren, Grant, James, Jaden, and Dad all went in and explored the cave.
Joyanne and Beacham came last and explored a bit too.
The cave was long, and had places to crawl through and many different caverns.
Marcia and Mom made it to just past the entrance of the cave and hiked back together with Marcia leaving mile marker signs every 1/4 of a mile.
See all the snow we hiked through.

There was about 2 1/2 feet of snow.

Mom's shadow with everyone's foot prints.
