District Champion

You know your a speech and debate kid when you're willing to get up early on a Friday or Saturday morning to go participate in a tournament.

32 students from Rigby participated in a Speech Tournament today.

We had many students who qualified and it was a great team effort.

Rigby High School District Speech Champions

Jaden happily and tiredly competed in Humorous Interpretation and Retold Story.
He qualified to state in HI, and was pleasantly surprised to be District Champion in Retold.
On his way out of the school, 2 students told him they heard Jaden through the door, just on his intro of Retold, and they thought he was amazing and would definitely win.

Jaden is District Speech Champion in Retold and Qualified to State in Humorous Interpretation, too.

 Jaden was sad about his friend, Christian, not qualifying and showed such loving support to his friend as he shed tears with him and comforted him.

Jaden humbly receives his awards, is grateful to those who have helped him. and then knows he has to continue to work hard to continue to succeed.
