Soccer Champions

Talk about a very thrilling soccer game to watch.

It was the final tournament.

Whoever won would be the ultimate champion.

The game started out fair, with both teams having great goalies who blocked all balls from entering into the goal.

At half time, neither team had scored a goal.

The score was 0 to 0.

The game continued on with parents loudly cheering and the players chasing around the ball.

The whistle shrilled announcing the game was over.

The score was still 0 to 0.

No goals made.

We went into 2 - 3 minute overtimes with still no goals.

The tension was high as the 2 teams went for a kickoff.

Each team had 5 players who alternately kicked a ball, trying to make a goal.

Our first 3 players kicked and made a goal.

Then their 4th player came out to kick.

She had to make a goal or our team would win.

She kicked, and the goalie dove, blocking the ball successfully.

Joyanne's team became the tournament champs!
