First Day of School 2017-2018

Here they all are!

Such good, smart kids ready for a brand new school year.

They are growing, growing, growing!

My youngest is in Kindergarten.

Does that make me old? 😜

I still feel like a young mom.

Cub Scout Day Camp

James went to Cub Scout Day Camp on August 9th.

He had fun doing all the activities.

His favorite part of the day was BB guns.

The scout program is great and teaches these boys to have good character.

I have enjoyed being the den leader and working in scouts, especially after going to Woodbadge.

Court of Honor

Noah and Hiram earned their 2nd and 1st class as Boy Scouts.

They also earned lots of merit badges from scout camp. 

Way to go, boys!

Woodbadge Reunion

Two Mondays ago, we enjoyed a swim party with Daddy's patrol leader from Woodbadge.

They have a beautiful 3600 sq ft home, with a gorgeous well landscaped yard.

Besides the swimming pool, they had disc golf, a trampoline in the ground, and several other games in the yard.

We had a fun time visiting, eating, and most of all, swimming.

Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake the first Saturday in August.

The beach was nice though a bit crowded, but the water was really high because of all the snow we received in the winter.

Daddy and I liked sitting on our chairs watching the kids play the sand and swim in the water.

The kids sure love our annual trip to Bear Lake.

Harry Potter Party

Last Friday, the library had a Harry Potter party in celebration of Harry Potter's birthday.

They had a sorting hat, which told you what house you were in.

They had fun photo booths.

The kids made wands and played a game where they dueled with their wands.

They also went on a savanger hunt, where at the end they received chocolate frogs.

Since Daddy had the day off that day, we went swimming at the natitorium.

In the evening we watched the first Harry Potter movie.

Sick Day

Last week, at 2am, Daddy and I were awakened by James, informing us that he had thrown up.

Daddy cleaned James' bed and I got James settled out on the couch and helped him while he proceeded to throw up more.

Finally, we settled back down in bed, when not 5 minutes later, Jaden came up complaining of a stomachache.

After putting him on the couch and turning on a movie, Jaden and James threw up for the next 2 1/2 hours off and on.

We ended up with a few hours of sleep after that.

When Grant woke up, he joined his brothers in the couch and it became a movie day for them.

I also was in bed most of the day too.

What a miserable day, but we got better and made it through,

EFY - Especially For Youth

Joyanne came home from EFY just glowing and so excited to tell Daddy and I all about her experiences.

She sent me a few pictures of her and what she was up too.

I've never known Joyanne to be boy crazy, but she went head over heels for a boy named, Thomas.

He's the cute redhead in the picture.

She so enjoyed her time at EFY, and would go back in a heart beat.
