The last 2 weeks have been a bit of a blur as we have been dealing with Eric Ellsworth death.
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving I was able to go with UHP and meet with the 16-year-old girl, Kassee, who accidently hit Eric.
We all expressed our love, gave her flowers, and let her know it was just an accident.
Eric's brother also came and expressed love and forgiveness.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with Daddy's parents and family.
It was refreshing and fun to see family we haven't seen for a while.
Here's the veggie turkey platter I created off of Pinterest.
Friday I spent helping make ribbons for the funeral.
The viewing was Tuesday, and we took the kids.
Wednesday was the funeral.
Being apart of the procession was amazing as so many people stood outside in support of this hero, Trooper Ellsworth.
Daddy was an honorary pallbearer.
Hearing the last call for 395, which was Eric's number, brought tears to many eyes, including my own.
Here's Daddy that evening, just resting from everything.
