Happy Easter!

This morning we watched the movie "Finding Faith in Christ" to remind us of the true meaning of Easter.

We thought about the Savior all morning.

When Daddy came home from work about 4pm, the kids went on an Easter egg hunt, and then they hunted for their Easter baskets.

Joyanne received "Twister" for her birthday and we all had fun playing it tonight.

Happy Birthday, Dear Joyanne!

It's been 14 wonderful years with this daughter of ours.

She spent the day skiing with her cousin, Bree.

Then the birthday celebrations really began.

We had orange chicken over rice for dinner.

Cheesecake was her birthday cake.

She loved all the presents she received.

Overall, it was a marvelous day for her.

Pack Meeting Robots

For Scout Pack Meeting we took recyclable materials and created a robot.

Fun times!

Daddy has been doing some training in West Jordan for the last 2 weeks.

Tomorrow is his last day to go.

I can't wait, it's been a LONG 2 weeks.

Cereal Sale and a New Delegate

My friend, Elizabeth, told me about a great cereal sale going on at Kent's grocery store.

So Jaden helped me load up our car, and now our food storage is full of cereal.

So I went to the caucus meeting and ended up coming out of it as an alternate State delegate and a County Delegate.

I guess I'm now involved in politics.

I'd better start studying the candidates a little better.

Rare Napper

Grant asked me to play cars, blocks and games with him while I was trying to clean house.

Then he asked if I would take a nap with him.

I was all for that.

Grant rarely takes a nap.

So we laid on the couch and within 15 minutes, we were both out.

I woke up before Grant and caught this precious moment of him sleeping peacefully.

Jaden spent a while, this afternoon, creating an outdoor maze for us.

We had fun winding our way through the tricky lines.

Temple Time

Participating in the Provo Temple Dedication was quite special for us.

Only James and Grant couldn't go.

It was Jaden's first time to go to a temple dedication.

We missed not going to church, but we were grateful for the experience of the temple.

We love our Sunday evening game time.

We played with Uncle Joseph and his kids "The Spirit Moves".

Afterwards Noah introduced us to Chinese writing game, then we picked a topic from the jar and had to talk for 1 minute on it.

We also played Psychiatrist.

We are still learning lots about not being so competitive and being good sports.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Grant and I spotted a leprechaun in our house.

We chased it and found a pot of gold and green necklaces it left behind.

Lucky Charms was our breakfast with dyed green fetticini and green salad for dinner.

And that's pretty much how we celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

The boys had fun, festive activities at the school in the evening for the family.
