Crazy Acting

Joyanne had crazy hair day at school.
She still looks pretty cute in pigtails.
Grant just loves his big sister and thinks she is something special.

I performed in the play, "The Inventor's Daughter" for the family at the preview.
It's been a blast to be in the play.
Joyanne has joined a comedy club where she gets to do some impromptu acting.
Their club also performed a skit before the play that was pretty funny.
Joyanne and I have enjoyed building on this new acting talent.
It's always fun to act out!

Bowling

Yay! All the kids were back in school today.
I'm grateful we're all healthy for the moment.
Our family went bowling and enjoyed a Valentine exchange with the Utah Online School (UOS).
Joyanne has been taking her core classes online and doing really well.
We haven't bowled in forever, but we had a great time!

Piano Teacher

Hiram is having a hard time getting over this sickness.
He was home again with a fever and tummy ache.

Joyanne has been teaching piano lessons to 4 of her brothers as well as 4 other students.
She loves teaching piano and is looking for more students.

Noah has recently taken an interest in computer programming.
He is thinking that is what he'd like to do for a career.
The next "Bill Gates" here we come! ;)

Lingering Sickness

Hiram had another sick day at home.
He felt fine if he stayed laying down, but when he'd get up, he was light-headed and dizzy with a stomachache.
Lunch time just made his tummy hurt more.
At least everyone else is feeling better.
We all are ready for this sickness to leave our house for good! :)

Sunday Sick Day

This is how our day was all day today.
All the kids woke up with upset tummies, headaches and fevers.
Church was obviously out of the question, but we had our own little church at home.
Some of the kids were worse than others, Noah and Hiram in particular.
We watched the 4-hour long movie of "The Ten Commandments".
We are hoping for a speedy recovery for all of us.

Parents and Pancakes

Our school had a pancake dinner for all the students' families.
We had fun listening to stories about pancakes and playing pancake games.

On another day this week, Hiram and I enjoyed eating out at Arby's with his gift certificate.
All the kids enjoyed the Sliders I brought home.

Crazy Fun and Hard Work

The kids have really enjoyed spending time on Sunday evenings playing games.
They look forward to it, and so do Daddy and I.

Noah's hair is growing quite long on top.
In fact, it was long enough that I could put a few small braids in his hair.
He said it hurt to have his hair done, but it was funny to see too.
I think he may be ready for another hair cut.

Daddy has worked for 7 days straight at nights.
It's exhausting!
The wintry weather has made the roads quite bad, and there have been lots of accidents.
He had to watch someone die the other night.
It was quite sad.
Daddy is a strong man and does his job so well.
