Aquarium Visit

We all had fun visiting the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah.
There were so many interesting fish and other water animals to see.

Our family favorite was the shark tank.
There was this big, round, oval walkway where the fish and sharks swam right over us.
They would come right up to the glass in front of us, and we got a great view of all the different fish and sharks.

There were also frogs, snakes, lizards, bugs and spiders to look at.
All of them were fascinating to look at and some we were able to touch.

The Manga Rays would swim right up to the edge where you could touch and pet them.
We also touched the poky starfish.

Overall it was another fun adventure for our family.

Better Late than Never

Soooo, we were kinda busy all October with the Haunted School so we ended up with no time to carve pumpkins.
So with Christmas music playing in the background, we finally carved the 4 pumpkins Grant had grown in our garden.
And the pumpkin seeds we got from them were DELICIOUS!
Ta da!!!
Better Late than never.

Headband Braid

Joyanne has been having me do her hair lately.
She looks up some hair design online and asks me to do it.
Today was a headband braid.
Joyanne looks beautiful with any hairdo, but this one looked good on her.

Fun and Pain

The kids had fun piling on top of Daddy and wrestling him to the ground.
It got a little chaotic and crazy, but the kids had fun.

The downside of the night was after Daddy stopped wrestling, the other boys continued.
Grant, accidentally, got pushed off the couch and smacked his head against the edge of the window sill.

He bled a lot, but we put a bandage on and he did okay.

Here's Grant's selfie of himself.

Happy Halloween

The kids had a Halloween Parade at School where they were able to show off their costumes.
All the costumes were pretty awesome to see and so unique.
Jaden was a cute yellow M&M, while Hiram was a Dementor, and James made an adorable lion.
Grant and I enjoyed watching all the festivities.
I enjoyed dressing up all day, taking Grant to Library Story Time, and then going trick-or-treating on Main Street with all the kids.
What a way to spend the day!
The night was spent eating mummy dogs and watching "Back to the Future" 1 and 2.

Halloween Orchestra Concert

Bath time is lots of fun when you have oodles of bubbles and Styrofoam letters to go fishing for.
Grant is living bath time.

Joyanne played her violin in her Halloween Orchestra Concert.
She has an amazing musical ability and it's wonderful to see her sharing her talents for others to enjoy.
It was fun to see all the variety of costumes.
Joyanne looked crazy in her pink pajamas and ratted hair.
Their concert ended with a song from "The Hunger Games" called "The Hanging Tree".
They had a soloist sing a little, but all together it was great!

Red Ribbon Week

It's Red Ribbon Week at all the kids schools.
They had crazy hair, Hat and Tie day.

Grant had a blast fishing for letters in the bath.
He told me the letter names and sounds.
Then we made words with them.

We've been having fun reading books about bears and playing with our teddy bears.

Joyanne is doing great at her online schooling, but she does miss all the social opportunities public school brings.
