Kitties born, grow, and some die (From April to August)

Midnight, a few days after she had her kittens.

Baby kittens, just a few days old

Midnight is a good mamma cat. She patiently nurses her kittens and cleans them.

The kittens just sleep and eat.

Kittens about 2 weeks old.

At about 3 weeks they started moving around, but they hadn't opened their eyes yet.

2 months old and ready to go to a new home. Our next door neighbor took her, but she died after a few weeks because she got half her body stuck under the garage when it closed.  They had named her Sacajawea.

Here are the other 4 kitties ready to be adopted out.  Only the Calico looking one ended up being adopted out, but she ended up dying from jumping out a car window and getting run over.

Here are our 2 black panthers. ;)

The cats always love to climb up the trees.

Joyanne snuggling with one of the cats.

Our 2 twinner cats.

Twins (April 14th)

We had a little family get together at Grandpa's.
Jeni and I loved holding McCall's twin boys.

Young Men and Women Pinewood Derby (April 16th)

The Young Men and Women had a combined activity.
They decided they couldn't let the Cub Scouts have all the fun and decided to do a Pinewood Derby.
Jaden has a nice Harry Potter Car.

Hiram has Calvin and Hobbs riding in a wagon.

Noah went for smooth and clean, very simple.

Joyanne's car looks like a yummy ice cream cone, ready for a bite.
They all had fun racing them down the track, even if they didn't win.

Noah's Eagle Project (April 13th)

Noah worked hard on his Eagle Project.
He organized a clean-up of the outside of an Assisted Living Home.
He had lots of great help!

Happy Birthday!

Daddy-O turned the big 4-0 this year.
This was one birthday he wasn't terribly excited for.
But, he enjoyed his presents and time with the family.
We love you more every year, Dad!

Daisy

Daisy is our new dog.
We got her from Grandpa.
He has taken very good care of her for a few weeks, but he realizes that Daisy is big and a bit of a handful.
We are working on teaching her not to jump, to drop the ball, to walk nicely on a leash and not tug, and to not chase everything that moves fast.
She is slowly learning.
We got her fixed, but she had a hard time not wanting to lick her incision.
We tried a dog cone, but she eventually broke it to pieces.
So we got a nice long shirt to put her in.
She kept in on for a few days, long enough to get her incision healed enough.
Daisy has lots of energy and is a fun, lovable dog.

Dad's Workout

Dad works out nearly 5 days a week at his new job with Melaleuca.
He has a great workout instructor, Sarah.
Here are some of the pictures of workouts Dad took so he can do them on his own when he can't workout with the group.
Dad is getting quite buff, and lifted Joyanne like a sack of potatoes the other night and carried her down to bed as if she weighed nothing.
Way to be tough, Dad!
