Museum of Natural Curiosity

We went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.
This place is absolutely AMAZING!
There are 5 different venues to explore.
In the 4 hours we were there, we only made it through half of the place.

The jungle area was a favorite for the kids.
They climbed across swinging ropes.
Grant particularly liked the plane.
The outdoor playground was creative and a great way to expend energy after lunch.
Winding around the outdoor maze was an adventure.
There were a couple of caves to crawl through.

All the kids loved the spider web.
They could climb up and down it.
They lost shoes and got bumped and kicked at times, but they still thought it was the best!

Joyanne and Jaden found the magic section fascinating.

Grant liked it too.

The kids savored an ice cream treat halfway through.

We had SO much fun that we will definitely be back again soon.

Hiking Straight Up

Nathan, who is 10 years old, was our guide on Tuesday as we hiked up a mountain behind his home.
He took us literally straight up the face of the mountain and then straight back down.
We made good time, but it was a bit challenging, particularly for Grant.

Sliding down the mountain was fun for us all.
We are spending Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Uncle David's and loving having more time with cousins, while Daddy is back home working graveyard shifts and sleeping during the day.

Aunt Linda's

We started our 1st day of Spring Break at Aunt Linda's, yesterday.
Joyanne played games with Brendon and Cameron.
Noah and Maren were close buddies, especially on the tramp.

Hiram and Jaden played with Samuel.
James and Timothy went everywhere together.
The "Castle" park was an exciting adventure, with "tag" being a favorite to play at the big park.
Then the kids wanted me to take pictures of all the great scenic areas at the park.

Grant and Emma followed each other everywhere together and really liked the slides.

We loved connecting with cousins and building our relationships.

Hiram's Fieldtrip

Hiram's class went on a fieldtrip to the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge last Thursday, and I was able to go with him.

There were four stations where we learned a lot about the animals, plants and land all around.

The nature walk was Hiram and my favorite activity, especially when we noticed a snake in the bulrushes.

We hope to return again with the rest of the family to explore this great place.

Easter and General Conference

The kids went on an Easter Egg Hunt at the park on Saturday.
They were happy with their find.

We also enjoyed watching Conference.
Daddy and some of the boys worked on 1000 piece puzzle while listening.

We enjoyed hearing about families and that marriage is between a man and a woman.
We drew closer to Christ as we learned more about his atonement.
We felt the spirit in what was taught and felt uplifted and are ready to work on improving our lives with the counsel we learned.

Easter morning was exciting as the kids found the big white basket full of their Easter treats.
HAPPY EASTER!

April Fools' Day

April Fools' Day, on Wednesday, turned out fun for our family.
Someone dyed our drinking water PURPLE!

The nozzle on the sink was taped so when you turned it on, you got sprayed.

So when Jaden went to rinse off his cereal bowl, he wasn't too happy when he got sprayed in the eye and his clothes got wet.
He let out quite the loud scream.
I tied the kids shoelaces backwards.

This trick kind of backfired on me because their shoelaces tips were broken off so it was hard to put the shoelaces back in the shoes.
But it was still pretty funny.
Noah thought the pink shoelaces in his shoes were pretty crazy.
The day was full of lots of tom foolery and fun!

Litza's Pizza

Grandma, Aunt Linda, Aunt Carol, Joyanne, Bree, Emilee, Maren and me went to Women's Conference on Saturday.
We loved all the talks about family.
We enjoyed continuing a tradition to go to Litza's Pizza afterward.
They really do have very yummy Pizza.
The silly girls had fun making faces and playing in the mirror window outside.
We all had fun goofing off a little bit.
Fun memories and fun times with these lovely sisters.
