Hot Summer Splash

It's one of those hot summer days where the kids say, "I'm bored! What can we do?"
Jumping on the trampoline with sprinklers is always fun.
To add to the fun, the ice cream truck came around with its blaring music.
We usually never buy ice cream, but today we did.
We miss Daddy, Noah and Hiram while they are at scout camp, but we are enjoying the summer Sun while we can.

Sleeping on the tramp would've been nice too, except it was very windy and started raining.
So falling asleep to a movie was fun too.

Cozette

I love my little Yorkie puppy, Cozette.
She has had a bit of a relapse in potty training, but we are working hard to get her on track.
I love this new dog carrier I got.
She fits inside well, and I can take her nearly everywhere with me.

"Fiddler on the Roof" Play

Since the beginning of March, Joyanne and I have been practicing for the play, "Fiddler on the Roof".
Joyanne played the part of the 2nd youngest daughter, Bielke, and I played the part of Grandma Tzietle.
The play went very well and the audiences seemed to really enjoy it.
We performed June 10-25 every Monday, Friday and Saturday.
We had fun being in such a wonderful production.

50th Anniversary

We shared my parents 50th Anniversary with them at Olive Garden.
All of my brothers and sisters were there.
We had a great time eating, talking and reminiscing.
I'm so thankful to have such loving parents who raised us in the gospel.
I hope my marriage will last as long as theirs has.
My parents have 54 grandchildren with one more on the way, and one great grandchild on the way.
My parents sure are great!

Happy Father's Day!

Here is the best Dad in the world!
He works hard for his kids, and sure loves being with them.
The kids think their dad is a superhero.

We were lucky to have Grandpa and Grandma Bills visit us.
We loved seeing them and spending time with them.

Sand Dunes

Daddy took the kids to the civil defense caves and to the sand dunes.
They were begging to play in the sand dunes on the way up.
The sand is so soft and smooth, and there is so much of it.

The hills were fun to climb and then roll down on.

They had so much fun, it was hard to leave.

I was spoiled with 3 hours of being able to do some family history with Cheryl.
I indexed 2 batches, attached sources, downloaded pictures, wrote a few memories, and read memories of my ancestors.
Family History: I am doing it!

Jensen's Grove in BlackFoot, Idaho

We had fun playing with cousins, enjoying the water, and going boat riding with Grandpa.

We are so excited to be visiting Grandpa and Grandma in Idaho.
We helped weed their garden and plant some flowers.
Now we are settled down, watching "America's Got Talent".

Mantuay and Williard Basin Hike

Fun hike up through Mantuay.
We were trying to reach inspiration point, but we were happy with where we ended and weren't sure where it was.
The view was beautiful way up high.

Of course, the boys have to climb a tree.

Climbing up tall, steep rocks is always fun.
But it made this mother a little nervous.

And, SNOW!!!
We ran into snow and couldn't drive any further, so we hiked up the rest of the way.
The boys had so much fun sliding down the snowy hills and having a snowball fight.

Snow in June was pretty awesome to see.
Even Daddy got in on the fun!

Grant's Without Training Wheels

We raised Grant's training wheels a while ago so he didn't have to depend on them too much while riding his bike.
Daddy took them off, and it wasn't long before Grant was riding everywhere all on his own.
He wants to ride his bike all day now.
My little baby boy is not so little anymore.
Way to go, Grant!

Uncle John

James and Grant have a new best friend.
They sure loved playing with their Uncle John this afternoon.
They played the board game, "Sorry" and tackled him.
They "freezed" him with their wands.
Family is sure fun!

First Puppy Haircut

This little 8-week old puppy, Cozette, got her first haircut.
I didn't really like it because she looks more like a schnauzer than a yorkie.
So I hacked at it a bit more, and . . . . .
now she looks like a rat. :(
I can't wait for her hair to grow back.

Last week I was averaging 4-6 hours of sleep at night.
I was so tired that I fell asleep at church on Sunday, right before I was supposed to conduct primary singing time.
Cozette would wake up 2 or 3 times at night and want to play.
I finally got her on a better schedule of going to bed around 9:00pm and sleeping until 6am.
She has taken a lot of my time teaching her to go on a potty pad, and not eat every little thing she finds on the floor.
But she's a good little puppy, and we all love her so.
